Bearing Housings

The bearing housings are made of grey cast iron in compliance with DIN EN 1961 and are available in different sizes. Each individual housing can hold bearings of the different diameters and widths. They are primarily self-aligning roller bearings.

However, the crucial factor is the type of application. For example, if high speeds are required, self aligning ball-bearings can be used. Self-aligning roller bearings are particularly well suited for high axial and radial forces.

combined with the various sealing elements, this results in a variety of possible designs, which makes up the standard range. The shaft diameters are between 20 and 160mm (Special dimensions on request). The bearings with tapered bore inner are attached to the shaft using an adapter sleeve. By contrast, bearings witha cylindrical inner ring lie directly on the shaft.

There are a wide variety of sealing options for the housing due to the large number of practical applications. The most important factors are the speeds and the external influencesthat act on the unit.
