Orbic supply a range of speed reducer and motorised gear units to fulfil all industrial applications.
The range includes right angle and parallel / in-line gear units utilising worm gear, helical gear and combinations, including helical / worm gear, helical / bevel /helical and double reduction worm gear.
A full range of right angle shaft units are also available off the shelf Most units are offered as a modular design with hollow output bore , or the option of plug-in output shaft.
All wormshafts are precision hardened and ground with centrifugally cast wormwheel rims electron beam welded to their centre, for high efficiency and strength.
Orbic also offers a range of custom designed open gear sets to commercial and and high precision accuracies - DIN2/AGMA14 standard.
The gears are available to standard and bespoke dimensions as helical or wormgear sets.
IADA
Although we are authorised distributors for the above brand we also have trusted and authorised routes to other well known brands this is through our membership with IADA.
IADA was started in 1998 by a group of independent distributors, offering MRO supply solutions, looking for a way to improve the level of service and coverage for their customers. We now have 19 members and 60 branches across the UK.
IADA’s philosophy is ‘National Power with Local Strength’ and each of the 60 sites has been carefully selected on their commitment and ability to deliver excellent and continuously improving customer care backed up with local stocks of quality products.
Authorised Routes Through IADA:
TEC Electric Motors worm gear boxes are constructed with an air tight and dust proof aluminium gear casing (sizes 025-090) and benefit from being able to be installed in open air.
No extra servicing is required for our worm gear boxes which are supplied with synthetic oil and are sealed for life. Sizes 110-150 are lubricated with mineral oil and supplied with breather, drain and filler plugs.
